FPD Part 10

First purple dragon.

A tender moment between loners.

Malefor woke up, back into that strange place he had been in earlier when he fell asleep in school. However, this time, he weren't alone. In front of him, was what looked like a big black mist with a pair of red glowing eyes in the center of it. Malefor stared at it, feeling the fear crawl through his entire body, yet he managed to cover enough speak.

"Who… who are you and where am I?" A pair of sharp white teeth could be seen, revealing a smirk.

"Oh, you mean this place? Nothing particular. Just the world of dreams. It is here, where everyone with the right powers can get in contact with each other via minds. As for me, I goes under many names, but I prefer to be called "Enzo"

Malefor raised an eyebrow.

"Just Enzo?" The mist's eyes narrowed as he stared at the purple dragon. It moved a bit of itself forward, slowly revealing a claws hand.

"As I said, I goes under many names. However, this is not my true form. I am a shape shifter. My true form is far less scary, but not less dangerous."

"What… what is your true form?" The claws hand returned back to it body.

"You will see. I was born to become the must loyal servant of the Dark Master."

Malefor's eyes widened as he heard that and felt his body tremble like mad.

"The Dark Master?" The sight of the purple dragon trembling in fear, made Enzo laugh.

"Now now, don't be such s scaredy cat! He won't do you any harm!" The purple dragon got very confused over this reply.

"Huh? Why not? Who is he?" The mist only laughed and then disappeared.

"No! Wait! Come back!"

"Malefor! Malefor, wake up!"

"Huh?" The purple dragon woke up and looked directly up in the red eyes of Heinaus. Around her, were stars and the moon was right behind her head. He wasn't sure, but it made her ruby eyes glow a rather beauthyfull colour. There was something over her, something that made him go silent.

When he did not respond, Heinaus started to think he was still asleep, but with eyes open.

"You know, you're the first one I have seen sleeping with open eyes." With that said, Malefor woke up from the brief taking sight.

"Oh sorry… I was just thinking." He slowly got up and looked into her eyes.

"I had this weird dream with a black mist with red glowing eyes, talking to me. He said his name was Enzo, but that was only one of the many names he goes under. Then talked about a Dark Master, who happened to be his servant and that this Dark Master would not harm me. When I asked him who this evil master was, he disappeared and then I woke up and saw you."

"Well, that was quite a dream."

"But, Heinaus… It didn't feel like a dream. It felt so real, especially when he touched me on the cheek for a short moment."

Heinaus looked like she was thinking deeply, before looking back at him.

"You mean, like a vision?" Malefor nodded to her reply.

"Well… for now, let's let it be. We can't do anything about it anyway, can we?" Malefor replied with a nervous smile.

"I guess not…" Heinaus replied with a shrug. Both of the dragons looked into the horizon of the dark night, seeing the moon's light reflect into the deep ocean.

"Heinaus… we have a problem…" Heinaus turned to look at the purple dragon.

"All of the adult dragons are dead and the rest escaped right? I was carried here because I can't fly." He said with a big nervous toothy grin.

Heinaus red eyes widened as she saw this was indeed going to be a problem.

"That… is a problem indeed… I might be able to carry you for a short while, but it a long way back and I don't want to risk that there won't be any islands. Because if so, we will drown." Malefor sighed and looked down.

"Then, there is no choice. I have to learn how to fly." Heinaus looked surprised at Malefor.

"How will you learn it so fast?"

"Well… you said you could fly right? You can teach me."

"Teaching?" The dragoness looked down onto her paws and into the snow.

"I have never tried to teach anyone anything."

"Please try… I have to learn it, or we be stuck here." Heinaus threw him an annoyed glance.

"So? It way better here then that freaking city of cold hearted lizards!" Malefor was surprised by the answer, but looked more upset and then surprised.

"Heinaus… I got my family there. Do you think I can just leave them? And what about Galedorm? Who will he be talking to? I mean, sure Flarina and Mageraz loves him, but still… That is being kind of selfish." Heinaus annoyed look turned into one of anger, showing that the dragoness had big anger issues.

"Don't you even think about me as some selfish dits! I cry every freaking night because I miss my parents so deadly! Heck, I don't even have a sibling to share it with!" Malefor could sense she was more sad then angry, and did not wish to fight with her. He walked over and dragged a wing around her.

"I understand your anger, and I can agree that the dragons in that city is just scumbags. But… some of those, are my family. And some are friends. Do you want to let the dumb once ruin it for the once we like?" Heinaus clinged close to the purple dragon as he hugged her, hugging him back.

"I guess you're right… I just hate that place…"
"So do I… And in the future, we will move away from there. I promise."

The two dragons then ended up staring into each others again. His golden once into her ruby once. Their snouts were only few inches from each other, and they soon got closer. The two young dragons moved their heads so close, that their snouts touched. And because they weren't interrupted this time, they started to kiss. It was a pretty sight. Two young dragons, both having a hard time, both lost someone they love and both hated, kissing in the beauthyfull moonlight.

Malefor was surprised. He would never ever had dreamt of this scene to happen. He would never had though any female would want a purple freak like him. But here he was, kissing at a very attractive dragoness. They might only be 12, but he didn't care. He was happy, and soon felt Heinaus pull out, as she needed air.

"That was… really great." She said, her eyes burning with love. Malefor smiled kindly and nodded, stroking his paw gently over her cheek.

"It sure was." Both dragons then laid back down into the snow, curling up to each other to keep the warmth.

"Tommorow, I shall teach you how to fly."
